Montana 4-H Congress

Fallon and Carter County youth traveled to Montana State University-Bozeman to participate in the 84th annual 4-H Congress.

Fallon and Carter County youth traveled to Montana State University-Bozeman to participate in the 84th annual 4-H Congress. 4-H youth competed in various workshops and competitions throughout the week.

In the horse judging, Taylyn Koenig placed 20th and Taylyn Dukart placed 14th out of 22 competing. Jonathon Wolenetz competed in the Stir-Ups contest and received a ribbon.

In the individual livestock judging, Caden Dukart placed 19th out of 50 youth. Ellen Guyer competed in Demonstration/Illustrated Talk where she received a blue ribbon. Ellen also received a scholarship. In addition to the competitive events. Youth were able to tour the campus and university’s research centers, participate in leadership workshops, experience hands-on mock television news production, learn about new bio-science technology, and much more.
