The Baker Spartans traveled to Colstrip for the District Tournament Feb. 19 and played the Lame Deer Morning Stars. The Spartans won by a large margin, 64-26.

The Baker Spartans traveled to Colstrip for the District Tournament Feb. 19 and played the Lame Deer Morning Stars. The Spartans won by a large margin, 64-26.

Solenn Jacobsen had 18 points, 4 rebounds, 2 assists; Paitton Herbst 9 points, 3 rebounds, 4 assists; Karlee Murnion 2 points, 1 rebound, 1 assist; Tori Nelson 6 points, 4 rebounds, 2 assists; Lauren Wang 8 points, 3 rebounds; Kylie Hadley 2 points, 8 rebounds, 5 assists; Braylea Wyrick 4 points, 2 rebounds; Savannah Hickey 3 rebounds; Taylyn Koenig 2 points, 3 rebounds; Jacey Benter 13 points, 4 rebounds; Cheyenne Perry 2 rebounds, 1 assist; Melissa Breitbach 2 rebounds.

On the second day of the tournament, the Lady Spartans played the Colstrip Fillies and won 47-40, earning a sport in the championship game.

Feb. 22, the Baker Lady Spartans played the Forsyth Dogies in a tough championship game and lost 33-49, placing second.
