Red Butte Ramblers 4-H

The fourth meeting of the Red Butte Ramblers was called to order by Nicole Allerdings Jan. 12, 2014 at the Plevna Senior Center.

The fourth meeting of the Red Butte Ramblers was called to order by Nicole Allerdings Jan. 12, 2014 at the Plevna Senior Center. Sayge Barkley led the American pledge and Seth Carroll led the 4-H pledge. Fifteen members answered roll call which was family pet. Minutes could not be read. Treasurer’s report was given.

In old business, the club discussed livestock committee meeting, Greytak calendars, livestock judging practice, Regional Leaders Forum, road sign projects, and Food Festival.

In new business, the club discussed a date for the Foods Festival, Council meeting, fruit sales, possession date for market steers and weigh-in is Feb. 15.

The club had a guest speaker, Kim Erickson. She talked to the club about photography that began in 4-H.

The next meeting of the Red Butte Ramblers will be held Feb. 9, and hosts will be the Ploegers and Pauls.

The fifth meeting of the Red Butte Ramblers was called to order by Nicole Allerdings Feb. 9 at the Plevna Senior Center. Bryce Shelhamer led the American pledge, and Jenna Paul led the 4-H pledge. Fifteen members answered roll call which was favorite Olympic event. Minutes were approved as read. Treasurer’s report was given.

In old business, the club discussed fruit sales, Greytak calendars, road sign projects, Council meeting, and Food Festival.

In new business, the club discussed Small Projects judging, steer weigh-in, and 4-H camp counselor applications.

The next meeting of the Red Butte Ramblers will be held Mar. 16 before the Food Festival at 3 p.m. Hosts will be the Ploegers and Pauls.
