The K-12 Plevna Christmas Concert was held Dec. 18. The evening concert was under the direction of music instructor Terry Bruha. The fifth grade band performed first. They played “Up on the Housetop”, “Jolly Old Saint Nicholas”, “We Three Kings,” and “Angels We Have Heard”. Next the 6-12 grade band performed “Silver Lake Sleigh Ride”, “A Dash of Christmas”, and “Sleigh Ride”. Then the 7-10 grade chorus sang “A Gospel Noel”, “Bethlehem Hallelu”, and “The Light Came Down”.

Kindergarten and first grade took the stage next. They sang and danced to “A Gift for Santa” and “If I Were A Snowflake”. The second and third grade students sang “Santa is My Buddy” and “The Sounds of Santa’s Workshop”. After that, the fourth, fifth and sixth graders sang “A Nice, Nice Christmas” and “Holly and Ivy and Evergreen”. Finally, students from kindergarten to tenth grade joined together and performed “Christmas Sing-Along”. The last song of the concert, “We Wish You a Merry Christmas”, brought the concert to a close and expressed the students’ desire for everyone to have a joyous Christmas season.
