The Baker Chamber of Commerce and Agriculture met Nov. 7 at the Baker Club for their regularly scheduled monthly meeting.

The Baker Chamber of Commerce and Agriculture met Nov. 7 at the Baker Club for their regularly scheduled monthly meeting.

Members of the Baker High School Business Professionals of America (BPA) chapter attended the meeting in sponsorship of the BPA regionals to be held in Baker Dec. 9. Spencer Losing, Lauren Wang, and Lynn Beach, advisor, spoke about their involvement in the competition. Chapter members can advance to state and national levels through the Region 7 competition.

Representatives of the Montana Chamber of Commerce will be in Baker Monday, Nov. 25, from 9-10 a.m. at the Red River Inn and Suites. The meeting is part of the Fall Montana Business Agenda Tour representing all businesses and gauging local perspectives.

‘Be a winner! Shop in Baker!’ starts Monday, Nov. 25, with drawings to be held Dec. 2, 9, and 16. The first late night opening for stores will be Friday, Nov. 29. Stores will be open until 7 p.m.

‘Countdown to Christmas’, formerly the ‘Christmas Stroll’, will be Wednesday, Dec. 4. Stores will be open until 7 p.m. with the Parade of Lights at 7:30 p.m. Judging for the Chamber Christmas light decorating contest will be Monday, Dec. 9.
