Melissa Ploeger receives Marvin Heintz award

Plevna School would like to acknowledge one of its faithful trustees for her dedication in serving the school and community. Melissa Ploeger was recognized at the Montana Conference of Educational Leaders (MCEL) with a Marvin Heintz Award. MCEL was held in Billings, Oct. 16-18.

Plevna School would like to acknowledge one of its faithful trustees for her dedication in serving the school and community. Melissa Ploeger was recognized at the Montana Conference of Educational Leaders (MCEL) with a Marvin Heintz Award. MCEL was held in Billings, Oct. 16-18.

The Marvin Heintz Award is presented to diligent trustees who have completed 108 hours of professional development. The award was named after Marvin Heintz of Moccasin who served on his local board for 18 years and for six years on the Montana School Boards Association. The criteria for the award includes the length of time on the local board, attendance at training conferences, attendance at state and national meetings, and service to the state and national associations.

The 2013-2014 school year is Melissa’s fifth year serving on the Plevna School Board. Congratulations, Melissa, your commitment to serving Plevna School is appreciated.
