Paitton Herbst, who competes for Dawson County High School, continues her running success by placing second at the Eastern A Divisional in Billings. Herbst was edged out by McDonnell of Billings Central by just two seconds. Herbst ran a 19:10 for the three mile course.
Nicole Allerdings of Plevna also competed for Dawson County and finished tenth. Allerdings finished in a time of 20:23. Dawson County finished third as a team in the Eastern A Divisional.
Sienna Schuler finished in ninth place in the JV girls’ race. Schuler finished the course in a personal record time to end her freshman season.
On the boy’s side, Spencer Losing finished in 22nd place. Losing finished the three mile race with a time of 17:52. Spencer is running in the fifth varsity spot for the Red Devils. The Devils placed third, as well.
Allerdings, Herbst and Losing competed at the State A Cross Country Meet Oct. 26 at the University of Montana golf course.
