April 9, the Baker Police Department along with the Fallon County Sheriff Department and the Montana Department of Criminal Investigation (DCI) completed a search warrant at a residence within the Baker city limits.

According to Police Chief Reddick, the search resulted in “a significant seizure of illegal drugs and the arrest of one male individual for the distribution of dangerous drugs (methamphetamine).”

While details surrounding the case are limited due to pending prosecution, Reddick did release the most basic information related to the case, saying, “Our officers do such great work. Our town is a little safer than it was before, and I want our residents to know that.”

Reddick also wanted to bring awareness to residents about the importance of locking their houses and cars. “Over the past few months we’ve had reports of possible trepasses on homes, and with warm weather coming, we usually see an increase in items being stolen from cars.” Reddick urged residents to take the time to secure their belongings.

April 14, Baker Police officers apprehended Anthony Tiedemann for parole violation with the North Dakota parole/probation office.

Chief Reddick went on to say that he was sure that Sheriff Barkley would agree that, “the seven officers of our two departments are doing a great job”.
