Plevna FFA Chapter had three FFA members participate in the 2012 Fallon County Fair. Tiffany Benner with her two lambs; Tyrel Huft – market steer; and AJ Gray – market steer. All received blue ribbons and Tiffany also received a Best of Class with her breeding ewe.

Recently, the Plevna FFA Chapter was the recipient of a generous donation made by Pfizer Animal Health through the Fallon County Veterinary Clinic. The spring program allowed the veterinarians to contribute one percent of their Pfizer Animal Health product purchases to local FFA Chapters of their choice. Dr. Don Beck participated in this program and selected the Plevna FFA Chapter as one of the chapters to receive the contribution. Pfizer and Dr. Don Beck believe that investing in our youth matters and creates future leaders.

Plevna FFA Chapter recently attended District Leadership School in Baker. Students in attendance were Tiffany Benner, Kaylin Wheeler, Dylan Sander, Zane Tunby, Tyrel Huft, and AJ Gray. The officers learned new ways to communicate with their chapter and other chapters around the state. They also discussed goals for themselves and their local chapter. Leadership activities included finding each other using animal noises, following key directions to follow a card maze, and making numerous new friends. Important leadership skills were discussed that will benefit the Plevna FFA Chapter for many years to come.
