Annabelle “Ann” Madsen

Annabelle “Ann” (Johnson) Madsen passed away in the early morning of December 31, 2012 in Butte after battling a long illness.

She was born in Fairview, July 28, 1941 to Mae and Raymond Johnson.

A memorial service will be held Friday, Jan. 18, at 11 a.m. in the Baker Assembly of God Church with lunch following the service. Cremation has taken place and burial will be held at a later date.

She will always be remembered for her beautiful smile and passion for life. Ann loved to travel and spend time with her family. Some of her favorite hobbies were crocheting, listening to music, collecting lighthouses, watching movies, and reading.

Ann did many things throughout her life in addition to being the greatest mom on earth. The job she loved most was working as a cook at Fallon Medical Complex and was very proud of her job there.

She was loved by many and will be remembered by all who met her. We will miss her dearly. She was preceded in death by her parents.

She is survived by the love of her life of 53 years, Wesley Madsen; her children, Glen (Shona) Madsen of Miles City, Ken Madsen of Miles City, Roy (Suzie) Madsen of Baker, and Cindy (Ryan) Erickson of Butte; her nine grandchildren – Terry, Wes, Matt, Mir a n d a , R o c k y , D a n i e l l e ( S a m ) , Krystie, Harley and Dusty; three great-grandchildren – Emalynn, Jessin and Kaiden; and three siblings – Raymond “Sonnie” Jr., Loren and Harold Johnson.
