Dewey and Vernie Eyre welcomed their fifth child, Harold, into the world April 17, 1965, in Baker. Harold passed peacefully in Denver, Colo., surrounded by his family.
Harold was very independent and there was nothing he couldn’t do. Fishing and playing basketball were his two passions. There was nothing he couldn’t fix as he was also a mechanic.
Harold attended grade school in Plevna and graduated from Westby High School in 1985. He earned a bachelor’s degree in social services from Great Falls University. Harold worked as an advocate for individuals with disabilities. He loved helping people live independently.
November 30, 2012, Harold was taken to heaven and reunited with his dad and two sisters, Valerie and Myrna.
Harold will be missed by his many aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins and friends. His mother Vernie and sisters Melody and Billie and their families invite you to celebrate his life at Smith’s Funeral Chapel, 925 S. 27, Billings, Mont., December 15, at 1:00 p.m.
