Ernest Walker, a longtime Enumclaw resident, died Oct. 3, 2012 in Orting, Wash. He was 93. Ernest was born Dec. 14, 1919, in Dry Prong, La. to Andrew and Ella Walker. He loved his family, God and church. Loved and respected by everyone, he was always willing to help others. He also enjoyed golfing, hunting, and fishing,
He was preceded in death by his parents, his wives Thelma Walker and Margaret Walker, 12 brothers and sisters.
Ernest is survived by his son, Ron (Kayli) Walker, of Montana; daughters Fran Caton and Connie (Brent) Felker, all of Enumclaw, Wash.; son, Alan (Sylvia) Walker of Wyoming; nine grandchildren; and eleven great-grandchildren.
Memorials may be made to donor’s choice of charity. He was laid to rest alongside his wives at Tahoma National Cemetery Oct. 10.
